November 25 in Tbilisi, Didube Plaza Hotel was held the final conference of the project "Rural community involvement in local decision-making process". The conference was attended by the GRC Council members from Kvareli, Khashuri, Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri, Gardabani, the representatives of the micro projects from Kareli, Borjomi, Khobi, Zugdidi, Samtredia, Vani and Kobuleti. In the conference participated school directors from Poland.
The conference was conducted by President of International Association "Civitas" Mr. George meskhidzesa and Executive Director of GRC, Mr. Amiran Gigineishvili. The conference focused to the activities and future strategy of GRC. Representatives of the micro projects talked about their activities. Polish guests shared good practice of community mobilization in poland. Project Director, Ms. Marzena Rafelska summarized the results of the project "the decision-making process of empowerment of rural communities".
The project is financed by "Polish Solidarity Fund" and the "Polish Aid".
Borjomi Central Library is hosting the photo exhibition. In the framework of micro project "My village" were exhibited photos from Kvibisi village of Borjomi Municipality. The exhibition will last 10 days.

17 of September Manager Marzena Rafelska and Coordinator Amiran Gigineishvili of the project "Rural community involvement in local decision-making process" met with representatives of local communities, members of the executive groups of the micro projects. Local representatives talks about goals and activities of micro projects. They mentions that it is very important to include wide representation of local community.

In the framework of the project "rural community involvement in local decision-making process" in the training center "Villa Georgica" is started the camp of young leaders. Training participants are from villages of Kobuleti, Vani, Samtredia, Khobi, Zugdidi, Gori, Borjomi and Sagarejo Municipalities. They raise the level of knowledge and skills in areas such as leadership, communication, presentation, project management and design. After finishing of camp planned implementation of small projects in home villages of camp participants.
